Required to be in the office 1 day per week.
The Business Analyst will provide strategic business analysis services to legal/admin departments. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of their needs, business strategy and processes.
Responsibilities will include a full range of activities from leading analysis on mid-large size projects to mentoring other team members, suggesting areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions and scoping several inter-related initiatives and helping senior-level business stakeholders make informed decisions about which initiatives to tackle as projects.
Responsibilities
- Be the liaison between the business, technology, vendors and support teams.
- Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key business stakeholders and identifying their business needs.
- Lead analysis on complex projects and continuously evaluate systems and processes to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to stream-line existing processes.
- Partner with internal and external parties to ensure solution provided meet the long-term business strategies.
- Produce required project analysis documentation - Business requirements, functional requirements, use cases, process diagram, future state proposals.
- Collaborate in Jira and Confluence on the tasks as they pertain to business analysis.
- Prepare test scripts and assist with UAT process
- Provide mentoring to team members and create opportunities for other Analysts to shadow and learn core skills.
- Articulate ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and help identify new project initiatives.
- Work closely with manager to foster development within the Business Analyst team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree and minimum 7-10 years experience in a software development, business analysis, project management, preferably in a professional services environment, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Law firm experience is a plus
- CBAP Certification a plus
- Good documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in various settings (g., video conference; audio)

The estimated base salary for this position is $130,000 to $140,000 at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, and performance. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
