Internal Communication Coordinator

The internal communications coordinator will support a global communications strategy that ensures consistent internal voice, amplifies firm priorities and values, strengthens culture and brand, and increases employee engagement. The role will report to the senior manager of internal communications and will collaborate with Business Development, Marketing and Communication teams, as well as other professional staff departments, to support communication initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and executing internal communications and employee engagement campaigns that support the firm’s strategic priorities, values and culture.
  • Write and edit copy for various mediums and audiences, ensuring error-free work product and consistent messaging that adheres to the firm style guide.
  • Help implement best practices in internal communications including diversifying channel strategy and tactics and researching new platforms and technologies.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining a comprehensive metrics dashboard to gauge the ongoing effectiveness of internal communications (e.g., emails, videos, podcasts, etc.) and prepare analytics reports.
  • Organize and maintain internal communications team materials; assist with record-keeping and archiving.
  • Oversee and administer the internal communication calendar; monitor distribution cadence of global communications to ensure alignment across the firm.
  • Assist with planning and executing employee engagement events and activities, including drafting and editing content, leveraging email distribution software, and creating follow-up surveys.
  • Support the maintenance of internal digital communications channels, including intranet sites, video/podcast platforms, office digital screens. Project manage the production of related collateral and assets.
  • Ensure that internal communications reflect the brand and culture of the firm, both in content and tone.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of brand, marketing and communication strategies, as well as world economic, business and industry affairs.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism or related field.
  • Strong oral, written and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Naturally collaborative with excellent interpersonal relationship-building skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables and prioritize workload while meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Desire to learn and develop an understanding of tools, techniques and trends for internal communications and employee engagement.
  • Strong listening and interpretation skills, as well as high emotional intelligence.
  • Flexibility to monitor emails and work outside of regular business hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, as needed.

*This role has the ability to work remotely a maximum of two days per week, in lieu of working onsite. The Firm may designate the specific days you are required to work onsite.


The estimated base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will be determined based on various job-related factors, including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, the scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, and performance. This is a non-exempt role, meaning it is eligible for overtime pay.
