Senior Network Analyst

The Senior Network Analyst will be primarily responsible for the firm’s network and technology environment servicing approximately 1,800 end-users across 39 offices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical expertise with the operation, monitoring, maintenance, installation, configuration of the firm’s network and telecom infrastructure. This individual will possess the ability to participate in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures required to achieve high availability, optimal performance, and future technology thought leadership. The Senior Analyst should have a good working knowledge of project management methods and processes and a proven history of effective communication skills at all levels of the organization.


Qualifications
  • 7+ years providing tier three network support and engineering
  • Expert level proficiency, hands-on expertise managing/upgrading/securing mid-to-large complex networking environments
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • BS Degree in Computer Science or proven equivalent work experience
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, nights, weekends and participate in a regular on-call rotation
  • A demonstrated ability to establish, follow, and document technology builds, best practices, and standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities, a plus
  • Cisco Certifications & ITIL Certified, a plus


Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the firms Cisco-driven infrastructure lifecycle, including dependent and integrated technologies
  • Experience in networking and collaboration technologies like Wireless, VoIP, OSPF, and BGP
  • Experience with Site-to-Site VPNs utilizing Cisco Firepower and Cisco routing platforms
  • Strong capacity planning and performance monitoring of enterprise network and telecom infrastructure to determine overall health
  • Work closely with vendors to resolve issues that have been escalated beyond third-level support
  • Research, recommend and implement additional network and telecom services in order to improve performance and stability
  • Perform all routine administration and maintenance, including patching, applying security updates, and disaster recovery of Network and Telecom infrastructure
  • Knowledge working with load balancing, application delivery controllers, (i.e. Citrix Netscaler) and scripting, a plus
  • Ability to design and manage Software Defined Network (SDN) and Hybrid Cloud Network solutions
  • Create and maintain documentation related to installations, system configurations, and network connectivity diagrams
  • Provide knowledge transfer and cross-training for network/telecom analysts and support staff
  • Adhere to ITIL service management principles as well as corporate policies
