Client Reporting Analyst

The Client Reporting Analyst assists with the daily and monthly reporting of client, practice and office results to individual partners and other internal stakeholders of the Firm.  This analysis helps the Firm make informed business decisions and better respond to client Requests for Proposal, rate negotiations, and budget estimates.


Responsibilities
  • Preparation of monthly upload files for Client Reporting database
  • Preparation of monthly Client Reporting database reconciliation
  • Maintain and update documentation on all Client Reporting processes
  • Maintain and update previously developed client reporting
  • Generate monthly client analysis, office and practice area reporting
  • Analyze profitability of unbilled time in advance of final client billing, as needed
  • Generate analysis and pricing models in support of existing client relationship
  • Review accuracy of matter practice coding and implement corrections based on Partner input
  • Review accuracy of matter billing arrangements and implement corrections based on Partner input
  • Assist in the maintenance and updating of all Client Reporting materials on our intranet
  • Respond timely to analysis and information requests
  • Special Projects as needed


Qualifications
  • 2 plus years of previous experience as a financial analyst or general accountant
  • College Degree with a major in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • Proficient utilizing Microsoft Excel with intermediate Powerpoint skills
  • Experience using IBM Cognos or SQL a plus
  • Strong financial and systems analytic skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (please request a writing sample)
  • Detail oriented
  • Available for work on nights and weekends to meet deadlines and deliverables
