Network Engineer

The Network Engineer will be actively involved in analyzing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. This individual will be involved with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of network hardware, software, and communication links as well as analyzing and resolving network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.

  • Node management, maintenance, and troubleshooting efforts for projects critical to the business
  • Responds to trouble tickets and performs troubleshooting on network devices
  • Maintains and administers network standards, documentation, processes, and procedures
  • Maintains and administers routers, switches, firewalls, and other network related devices
  • Works with other departments to activate services and assists with problem resolution as required
  • Builds and supports network related infrastructure systems

  • Possess expertise in the area of IP networking and design
  • Possess diverse technology background which can support and maintain (WAN//WLAN/LAN)
  • Experience working in a converged enterprise class network with skills to trouble shoot network elements, protocols, services, and transport Layer problems
  • Network engineering experience in design, configuration, and installation
  • Expert proficiency of EIGRP and BGP routing protocol
  • Proficiency with DNS
  • Experience with Cisco 4500, 3750, and Nexus 7K and 9K NX-OS
  • Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls
  • Syslog and log monitoring


Education: BA/BS degree in a related technical discipline preferred. Network certifications are a strong plus. Law firm experience is a plus.

Experience: The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years experience supporting a high performance, converged, enterprise network
